Bono società agricola a r.l. Farm

Although ours is a recently established company, it is linked to ancient agricultural traditions. In fact, ours is the third generation. In 2017 we started a process of conversion from conventional agriculture to organic agriculture. In 2020 we obtained the “organic company” certification from our certifying body “Suolo & Salute”. The company has a total of approx. 12 ha. it is distributed across two sites of equal surface area. One is cultivated in rotation with legumes and cereals, the other is equally divided between an almond grove (Tuono variety), a table olive plant (Nocellara del Belice variety), and oil olives (mixed variety between Giarraffa and Palermitana ). Our flagship is the cultivation of saffron which we have been practicing for approx. eight years
